Hannah is a writer and archivist from Minneapolis, now based in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2016 with a BA in Studies in Media and Cinema Culture. In 2023, she earned her MLIS from Queens College, where her research focused on film and television archives in the streaming era.

She is currently on the steering committee of XFR Collective, a 501c3 organization dedicated to providing education, equipment, and low cost digitization and preservation access to video artists and community members. With XFR, she has worked with many artist’s collections, including Kiki Smith, Joan Jubela, Alan Moore, and many others.

She spends most of her free time thinking about television, which she believes is the perfect medium.
